Title: Firsts

Author: daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13

Notes: AU robot!fic. Sequel to "I, Castiel," which is a fic where angels and demons are robots. Cas is Dean's robot and trying to figure out what the hell it means to be human. Sorry for the delay, guys, life has been hell on earth (ha!) recently. Thanks to kundello, who gave me a much-needed kick in the pants.

Summary: Life after the “operation” was measured in a series of firsts.

X

“I cannot be analyzed by your crude human means,” Cas said, tilting his head to one side. “Although you are welcome to try.” )

 Title: Firsts

Author: [livejournal.com profile] daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13 (eventual R, I think)

Notes: AU robot!fic. Sequel to "I, Castiel," which is a fic where angels and demons are robots. Cas is Dean's robot and trying to figure out what the hell it means to be human. This is a little less philosophical and more fluff, I think. I solemnly swear that the next chapter won't take as long! Promise~

Summary: Life after the “operation” was measured in a series of firsts.

X

“Trust me, Cas is still hymenated like there’s no tomorrow," Dean said. "Me, I’m living the celibate life. Next thing you know, I’m going to shave my head and join the fucking monastery.” )

Title: Firsts

Author: daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13 (eventual R, I think)

Notes: AU robot!fic. Sequel to "I, Castiel," which is a fic where angels and demons are robots. Cas is Dean's robot and trying to figure out what the hell it means to be human. This is a little less philosophical and more fluff, I think.

Summary: Life after the “operation” was measured in a series of firsts.

The New Cas (the words were capitalized in Dean’s head) was…well…a lot like the old Cas, really. Old Cas had liked to ask questions, and so did New Cas. Old Cas cooked and cleaned like a fiend, and New Cas was no slouch either. There were subtle differences, though, if you knew how to look for them—Old Cas had been remote, a distant observer of humanity. Behind the impassive façade, New Cas was constantly fumbling, trying to make out what exactly he was. )

Title: I, Castiel

Author: [livejournal.com profile] daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13

Notes: AU robot!fic. Finally completed! *dance of manic joy*

Summary: Dean takes his first steps into the 22nd century with Castiel, his very own programmable robot. He finds himself instead trying to deal with what it means to be human while teaching a stiff, contrary bot the basics of life.

Chapter Five

"The core variable is still the owner.” Ash looked up at Dean, who was rubbing his forehead in frustration. “So, evidently you dig the kind of bot that glares a lot and asks weird questions.” )

Title: I, Castiel

Author: daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13

Notes: AU robot!fic. SORRY FOR THE DELAY, Y'ALL, THIS CHAPTER ALMOST KILLED ME. *flops*

Chapter Four

“I can’t be human,” Cas said at last, his voice very quiet. “That’s one order I can't obey.” )

Chapter Six

Title: I, Castiel

Author: daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13 (for now)

Notes: AU robot!fic. This fic will probably have 6 parts. Sorry for the delay, y'all! I've been dealing with a lot of Real Life stuff. Ugh. :/

Summary: Dean takes his first steps into the 22nd century with Castiel, his very own programmable robot. He finds himself instead trying to deal with what it means to be human while teaching a stiff, contrary bot the basics of life.

Chapter Three

“Don’t believe that shit about ‘companionship’ and ‘your best friend,’ Dean, it’s all about the sex," Ruby said quietly. "At least, it's supposed to be, until it no longer is. )

Chapter Five

Title: I, Castiel

Author: daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13 (for now)

Notes: AU robot!fic. This fic will probably have 4 or 5 or 6 or whatever parts. Bah! Also, a plethora of philosophical discussion. Hats off to Mr. Asimov!

Summary: Dean takes his first steps into the 22nd century with his very own P.A.L., the most sophisticated robot on the market. One programming muddle later, he finds himself teaching a contrary, stiff robot what it means to be human.

Chapter Two

Dean groaned. “Christ. Look, it’s simple. Bots aren’t human, humans aren’t bots. You can’t really equate one to another, Cas. I’m not saying one’s better than the other, but they aren’t the same.” )

Chapter Four

Title: I, Castiel

Author: daymarket

Pairing: Dean/Cas

Rating: PG-13 (for now)

Summary: Dean takes his first steps into the 22nd century with his very own P.A.L., the most sophisticated robot on the market. One programming muddle later, he finds himself stuck with a contrary, stiff robot who doesn't quite know how to act human.

Chapter 1

“It is not appropriate to date a robot,” Castiel added. “In order to have a truly meaningful relationship, both parties must have free will.” )

Summary: Dean takes his first steps into the 22nd century with his very own P.A.L., the most sophisticated robot on the market. One programming muddle later, he finds himself stuck with a contrary, stiff robot who doesn't quite know how to act human.

It was a little disconcerting, really: didn't Castiel need to blink? Robots were supposed to be as realistic as possible, right? )

Chapter Two

Title: Change of Pace

Pairing: Cas/Dean schmoop

Rating: So very PG.

Written for [info]karaokegal’s come as you’re not Halloween party! :D As I am definitely –not- a Huddy shipper, what better disguise could I don? At any rate, this will be the only piece of Huddy that I will –ever- write. So enjoy while you can!

Title: Misunderstanding

Author: daymarket

Rating: PG? PG-13? Something light, anyway.

Warnings: NONE. YAY.

Summary: Despite all the years and history between them, they still misunderstand each other. An alternate explanation for why House chose to try the methadone. Huddy.

Notes:

1) Set between “Unfaithful” and “The Softer Side.” In case you forgot, “Unfaithful” is the Simchat Bat episode and “The Softer Side” is the one where House decides to try methadone as pain relief instead of Vicodin. House/Cuddy conversation. What they say is in quotes, what they really mean is in italics.

2) The format of this is modeled after [info]californiaquail's beautiful fic Subtext (similar to this, but instead a conversation between House/Wilson). If you haven’t read that I highly recommend you do, mostly because one of the best HW fics I’ve ever read. :) Subtext is friendship/gen unless you have slash goggles (which fortunately I do, but you can’t borrow them. NYAH! XD).

...also known as my wilson_fest prompt on lj. Also ALSO known as my first House-fic...like, ever. XD

Title: The Meaning of Life
Author: daymarket
Prompt: #175 AU: Wilson is a guardian angel and his assignment is a miserable doctor named Gregory House.
Rating: T
Character(s)/Pairing(s): House/wILSON
Warnings: Er...none?
Disclaimer: Don't own. Etc.
Summary: Being angelic and being human are two entirely different things.
Notes: Er. I think the original prompt was kind of cracky, really, but that's not how it turned out. Er. Yeah. And the format is weird, but I don't have time to fix it at the moment. And if anyone can teach me how to do an LJ cut, I will love you eternally.
Wordcount: ~5000 or so.
